President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Workflow of Court of Appeal of the Capital, Aden

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Monday, with Judge Mohammed Al-Junaidi, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeal, in the capital, Aden.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the chief judge Al-Junaidi on the conditions of the Courts of Appeal in the capital and the challenges they face due to the lack of well-equipped facilities, weak operational budgets, and a lack of well-qualified staff.

The meeting dealt with the problem of the strike carried out by the administrative staff in the courts and the legitimate demands of the staff of the judiciary. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of continuing work in the courts, not delaying adjudicating citizens' cases, and implementing all judgments issued by the judiciary, provided that entitlements of staff are followed up with the concerned authorities.

For his part, the President of the Aden Appeal Court, Judge Mohammed Al-Junaidi, appreciated President Al-Zubaidi's support, his keenness to follow up on the situation of the judiciary, and his readiness to ease all challenges and ensure the continuation of its work without delaying the process of adjudicating citizens’ cases.
