President Al-Zubaidi Asserts Supporting SJC to Enhance the work of Courts and Public Prosecution Offices


President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), asserted his support and backing for the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) to enhance the work of courts and public prosecution offices to speed up the process of adjudicating citizens’ cases. It took place during his meeting today, Wednesday, with Judge Mohsen Talib Al-Hawshabi, Chairman of the SJC, and Judge Ali Al-Awash, Head Judge of the Supreme Court.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by Judge Al-Hawshabi on the conditions of the courts and public prosecution offices and their workflow, as well as the efforts made by the SJC to improve the conditions of judges, strengthen the work of judicial institutions, and provide them with well-qualified and competent staff.

President Al-Zubaidi expressed the readiness of the STC and the PLC to provide all kinds of support to the SJC to perform its entrusted tasks, indicating that the continuity of the work of judicial institutions is one of the most important factors of stability in any community.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the SJC and the head judge of the Supreme Court highly valued President Al-Zubaidi's interest in the work of the courts, and his keenness to support the efforts of the SJC to conduct its role with efficiency and competence.
