President Al-Zubaidi and Two Vice Presidents Pay Visit to Martyrs' Square for Liberation of Hadramout Coast and Lay a Wreath at the Memorial

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), paid a visit on Friday morning to the Martyrs' Square of the Liberation of Hadramout Coast and the memorial in the city of Al-Mukalla.

President Al-Zubaidi, accompanied by two Vice Presidents of the STC, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Buhsni, Vice Chairman of the PLC, and Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, laid a wreath of roses at the memorial and tributedly read Al-Fatiha on the souls of the heroic martyrs who martyred in the process of liberating the cities of Hadramout Coast from the grip of the terrorist organization Al Qaeda.

President Al-Zubaidi and his two Vice Presidents were briefed on the progress of work at the Memorial Park project and Hadramout Martyrs' Square, which consists of an open theater, cafeterias with accessories, family sessions, green areas, and lighting, to provide entertainment services to the people and visitors of the city of Al-Mukalla.

The President highly valued the sacrifices of the people of Hadramout, personnel of the Elite Forces, and the security services in liberating Al-Mukalla and the cities of the Coast of Hadhramaut and the efforts to maintain security and stability, affirming that these sacrifices will definitely remain a crown and a beacon on the heads of the people of Hadramout in particular and the South in general.

President Al-Zubaidi, his two vice presidents, and several members of the STC's Presidium, upon their arrival at Martyrs' Square, were received by the Commander of the Second Military Division, Major General Pilot Fayez Al-Tamimi, and a number of local authority officials, military commanders, and security officers in Hadramout governorate.
