President Al-Zubaidi Arrives in Al-Mukalla to Attend Assembly's 6th Session

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), arrived today, Thursday, in the city of Al-Mukalla, the downtown of Hadramout Governorate, to attend the sixth session of the National Assembly of the STC, which is scheduled to be held on May 21-22, 2023.

Upon his arrival at Al-Rayyan International Airport, chiefly accompanied by Vice President of the STC and Chairman of the Assembly Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, the President was received by Major General Faraj Al-Buhsni, Vice President of the STC and Vice-Chairman of the PLC, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Ghaithi, member of the STC’s Presidium and Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission of the PLC, together with a number of military commanders and security officers, the local leadership of the STC, and the local authority.

Large crowds of Hadhrami people lined the roadsides to greet the president, raising the flags of the South and making gestures expressing the warm welcome of President Al-Zubaidi to the Governorate.

It is worth mentioning that President Al-Zubaidi was accompanied by several members of the STC's Presidium, members of the supreme executive leadership, and heads of auxiliary authorities.
