President Al-Zubaidi Hails Efforts of Dialogue Teams in Strengthening National Cohesiveness

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), lauded the major and strenuous efforts made by the internal and external southern national dialogue teams (ISNDT and ESNDT) to unify visions and strengthen southern national cohesiveness, reaching to the signing of the Southern National Charter.

It took place in the meeting on Tuesday with the ISNDT and its head, Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, the head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi congratulated both dialogue teams for the grand success that they had fulfilled through a series of long and intensive meetings and discussions with various political, social, and academic components, civil society organizations, and legal personalities, both at home and abroad, which culminated in holding the consultative meeting and signing the Southern National Charter for the first time in the history of the South since national independence on November 30, 1967.

President Al-Zubaidi reaffirmed that the STC will definitely continue its serious endeavors towards cohesiveness and rapprochement towards building the federal state of the South in which all will participate, based on its deeply-rooted principle in the language dialogue as the best way to remove any differences as a civilized value that establishes a prosperous southern homeland free from violence, hatred, revenge, and feud.

In turn, the head and members of ISNDT expressed their thanks to President Al-Zubaidi for his incessant support to both dialogue teams; at home and abroad, affirming that the achievement fulfilled by signing the Southern National Charter would not have been possible without President Al-Zubaidi's full support, backing, and tireless efforts in adopting dialogue and his keenness to involve all southern forces in building the aspired state of the South.
