In the presence of Mr. Amr Ali Al-Beidh, member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and the Special Representative of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the STC for Foreign Affairs, the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) held its regularly scheduled meeting on Sunday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe'y, deputy head of the NSMA.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by the head of the Southern Journalists and Media, Mr. Aidaroos Bahashwan, and a number of heads of news sectors, websites, and newspapers, Mr. Amr Al-Beidh expressed his happiness at being among the southern media elite, praising the important roles played by the media in boosting and promoting the goals of the cause of the people of the South, and confronting attempts to undermine these goals, by providing a broad explanation about the steps of the STC externally, and the most prominent relations of the STC in this context, which are built on the foundations and principles of the southern cause as a triumph for its justice.
Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Special Representative of the President of the STC for Foreign Affairs, through which he introduced the Board of Directors of the NSMA and its various media sectors, as well as various tasks and work in multimedia, indicating the keenness of NSMA to qualify the members in the field of journalism and media, contributing to restoring the leading position of the media of the South.
The meeting reviewed the overall points that have a common connection with the message of the southern media at the level of strengthening the status and presence of the cause of the people of the South both internally and externally and discussed a range of strategies that contribute to this promotion.
