President Al-Zubaidi Meets with Committee on Restructuring and Upgrading By-Laws of the STC

President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met at his office on Saturday evening with the head and members of the Special Committee to prepare for the process of structuring the STC.

The president listened from the committee to a satisfied explanation of the exerted efforts in preparing the regulations and systems of the STC and its newly formed and existing bodies to organize its work, vitalizing its role in line with the process of change and the expected upgrading in the structures and work mechanisms of the central and local bodies of the Council and the mechanisms of supervision, control, audit, evaluation, and accountability for the performance of its staff at various levels.

President Al-Zubaidi expressed his thanks for the efforts made by the committee, directing the need for the committee to prepare the standards and procedures required to evaluate the performance of the leadership and administrative staff in the various central and local bodies of the STC, which paves the way for the Presidium of the Council to take measures for change, shifting, and new bloods in all the bodies of the STC and to involve national forces as per the objective foundations and standards that boost the work of the STC to assume national responsibility in representing the cause of the South and their uncompromising struggle in restoring the state of the South.

The meeting was attended by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, member of the STC's Presidium and Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the Presidium of the STC and deputy secretary general, Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, member of the Presidium of the STC, Mr. Mohammed al-Ghaithi, Director of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC, and Mr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, head of the Internal Southern National Dialogue Team (ISNDT).
