President Al-Zubaidi Directs Decisive and Rapid Response to Houthi Attacks

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Sunday with the Minister of Defense in the power-sharing government Lieutenant-General Mohsen Al-Da'eri.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the latest military developments in the frontlines with Houthi militias and the level of combat readiness to confront Houthi attacks that followed the end of the UN truce.

The president stressed the importance of raising military vigilance, decisively responding to any attacks on the armed forces picketed in battlefronts with Houthi militias, and being alert to attempts may advance to the confronting fronts.

President Al-Zubaidi emphasized on intensifying training and drilling programs for commanders, officers and soldiers to keep pace with the successive developments in military sciences, expressing the readiness of the PLC to provide whatever required to enhance the performance of the armed forces to efficiently and effectively deal with all situations.

For his part, Major General Al-Da'eri valued President Al-Zubaidi's continued support for the command of the military institution and his constant keenness to ease all difficulties, affirming the readiness of the armed forces to decisively and rapidly respond to any attacks that may be launched by the bloodthirsty Houthi militias.
