President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Outcomes of MPIC's Meetings with Donors and Representatives of international organizations

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Monday, at his office, in the capital Aden, met with Dr. Nizar Abdullah Basuhaib, Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation (MPIC) in the power-sharing government.

The president listened from Dr. Basuhaib, to a satisfied explanation of the outcomes of the meetings held by the Ministry with international organizations and donors, and the matrix of prioritized projects prepared by the Ministry, in coordination with the local authorities, to list the sectors that need urgent interventions by donors.

In the meeting, which was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry Mr. Mansour Zaid Haidra, the President emphasized the importance of including the vital sectors in the matrix of the top prioritized projects, foremost of which are the health, education and infrastructure projects, urging the ministry to intensifying its efforts in coordinating with donors and assisting organizations, to ensure 

expeditely receiving their provided support, and the implementation of projects that contribute to pushing the wheel of development, and benefit the country and citizens.

To the end of the meeting, Dr. Suhaib offered thanks and appreciation to the president Al-Zubaidi on his continuous following up of the ministry's workflow and keenness to overcome any encountered difficulties, affirming that the Ministry will take and include all the raised remarks and comments.
