President Al-Zubaidi receives Ministers of Communications, Water and Endowments

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Thursday, separately met a number of ministers in the power-sharing government, namely, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Najeeb Al-Auj, the Minister of Water and Environment, Eng. Tawfik Al-Shargabi, and the minsiter of Endowment and Guidance, Mr. Mohammed Aidha Shabibah,

In the meeting with the Minister of Communications, the president Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed report on the conditions of the telecommunication sector in the capital, Aden and the liberated governorates, as well as the efforts spent by the ministry to rehabilitate infrastructure of this vital sector to liberate it from control of the Houthi militia, to contribute to revive economy, investment, globalization of development and reconstruction.

In the second meeting, with the minister of Water and Environment, the president Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the situation of water and environment sectors; difficulties and challenges that were faced as a result of the war and scarcity of capabilities, stressed on utmost importance of upgrading water and environment sectors to citizens, affirming that the leadership of the Presidential Council pays a special attention to these two vital sectors, as they are among the most important pillars of development and stability in all countries.

In the third meeting, the president Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Minister, Mohammed Aidha Shabiba, on the efforts made by the ministry to address the imbalances that took place to the endowment sector in light of the war, stressed importance of the ministry to perform its tasks and assume responsibilities in confronting the intrusive sectarian ideology that the Houthi militia is trying to spread, and to deliver the message of right ideology, and raise awareness among citizens on danger of the deviant ideas promoted by the Houthi militia on the entire country.

For their part, the ministers offered their congratulations to the president on formation of the Presidential Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, assured readiness to perform directives of the leadership and accomplish the assigned tasks, each within the scope of his purview.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Naser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidency of the STC, head of the Negotiations Unit, Mr. Abdul Rahman Sheikh, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the Presidency of the STC, Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi,head of the General Directorate for Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC.
