The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday evening, received a delegation from the Alliance of Princes of South Arabia, led by Sharif Haider Saleh Al-Hbaili.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the delegation of the princes, reviewing with them the results of the Riyadh consultations, praising their positions in support of the south and its national cause and their support for the efforts of the brothers in the Arab coalition to restore security and stability to Yemen in general.
In turn, the princes, that included Prince Abdul-Jabbar Abdul Wahed Al-Amiri, Sheikh Ali Al-Salahi, Sheikh Muhib Saif Al-Ahmadi Al-Amiri, Sheikh of the sheikhs of Al-Dhalea, Sharif Adel Haider Al-Habili, Major General Shaafal bin Shaafal Al-Ahmadi, and Sharif Maher Fadl Al-Habili, presented congratulations and blessings to President Al-Zubaidi on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council, affirming their support for the new leadership and their support for all the efforts to be undertaken to liberate the remaining areas under the control of the Houthi militia, renewing their confidence in President Al-Zubaidi in winning the cause of the south and achieving the aspirations of his people for self-determination.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the Council’s Negotiations Affairs Unit, Ali Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency, the official spokesman of the Council, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the Presidency, Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, Head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Council, and Imad Mohammed, Deputy Director of the Office of the President of STC, and Ali Al-Hadayani, the press secretary to the President of the STC.
