President Al-Zubaidi Receives Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Tuesday evening, received the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism in the power-sharing government, Mr.  Muammar Al-Eryani.

During the meeting, the president Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the minister, Al-Eryani on the reality of media work, stressing on importance of assuming responsibilities conducted by the ministry in upgrading work in general and media aspect in particular, developing media institutions, building capacities of its cadres, correcting policies and media visions in line with changes on the ground, and enhancing presence of the State institutions.

For his part, Mr. Al-Eryani offered congratulations to the president Al-Zubaidi on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, stressing the ministry's readiness to accomplish the assigned national tasks and perform directives of the new leadership.

Mr. Al-Eryani pointed out that the ministry is exerting efforts to develop Media institutions and promote attitudes on culture and tourism in the liberated governorates.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, the official Spokesperson and the member of the presidency of the STC, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the Presidency of the STC, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe'y, the deputy head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), Head of Radio and Television Sector, Mr. Imad Mohammed, deputy of office director for the President of STC,

Mr. Saleh Ghaleb al-Quaiti, representative of the Foreign Affairs in the STC, and Mr. Ali al-Hadayani, Press and Media Secretary to the President of the STC.
