President Al-Zubaidi: Al-Mahra is the eastern gate of the South and will stay of special attention to leadership of the Council

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Thursday, received at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, a delegation of dignitaries from Al-Mahra governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the visiting delegation of dignitaries from Al-Mahra, stressing that the leadership of the Transitional Council pays special attention to Al-Mahra because of its position for the South throughout history and geography.

In his speech to the visiting delegation, President Al-Zubaidi affirmed that Al-Mahra was and will remain the eastern gate to the South and an extension of southern history, as it is a governorate with its deep-rooted historical legacy.

President Al-Zubaidi called on all the people of Al-Mahra for collaboration, solidarity and maintaining the community fabric, and mobilize the determinations to defend their resources, and preserve their social fabric, calling on all the people of Al-Mahra to stand up against the futile attempts aimed at bringing about a change in the social fabric of the governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi mentioned the Riyadh Agreement and the political gains it achieved for the people of the South and their national cause, praising the efforts of the brothers in the coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to complete the implementation of the terms of the agreement.

President Al-Zubaidi listened from the delegation of Al-Mahra to an explanation of the general situation in the governorate, in addition to the political movement that the governorate is witnessing, as well as the difficulties and obstacles faced by the people of Al-Mahra, in light of the wave of politicized displacement that aims to turn the governorate into an alternative home for the forces fleeing from confronting the Houthi militias.

For their part, the people of Al-Mahra expressed their happiness at meeting President Al-Zubaidi, stressing that Al-Mahra is a natural extension of the South and will not tweet outside the flock, and the people of Al-Mahra stand today with all their sects with the leadership of the Transitional Council until achieving complete independence and building of a free and independent southern state on the entire soil of the South.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, member of the Southern Transitional Council Presidency - official spokesperson of the Transitional Council, and Brigadier General Naser Howaider, Mr. Ahmed Al-Rubaizi, and lawyer Yahya Ghaleb from the Negotiations Affairs Unit, and Anis Al-Sharafi, Head of the Political Affairs and Planning Department in the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Council
