President Al-Zubaidi honors director of the office of UN envoy in Aden the capital at the end of his posting
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, received today, Wednesday, in his office, the Director of the Office of the United Nations Envoy in the capital, Aden, Mr. Marwan Ali.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi valued the role played by the office of the UN envoy in the capital, Aden, throughout the past period, and the accompanying cooperation and joint coordination between the Southern Transitional Council and the office of the UN envoy.
President Al-Zubaidi touched on the general situation in the liberated governorates of the South, noting that the deteriorating situation in the governorates of the South came as a result of the government's failure to fulfill its obligations towards citizens, as stipulated in the Riyadh Agreement.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to complete the implementation of the remaining provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, as it is a starting point towards peace, stressing the importance that the office of the UN envoy in the capital, Aden, to inform the UN envoy, Martin Griffiths, on the general situation in the south and the extent of the suffering of citizens, as a result of the policy of war of services that it has pursued by the forces of legitimacy against the people of the South.
For his part, the Director of the Office of the UN Envoy in Aden, Mr. Marwan Ali, expressed thanks to the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for the good reception and treatment he enjoyed throughout his period of work, praising the flexibility of the Southern Transitional Council in dealing with all issues related to the country's future.
At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi honored Marwan Ali, who will leave the capital Aden after the end of his duties, with the shield of the Southern Transitional Council, in appreciation of his efforts during his work as Director of the Office of the UN Envoy in the capital, Aden.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Nizar Nasser Haitham, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Council in the capital, Aden.
