President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi meets with members of the National Assembly's Administrative board

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, met on Thursday with members of the administrative body of the Council's National Assembly.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Presidency of the Council, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, Acting Secretary-General, Lawyer Niran Sooki, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Lotfi Shatara, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Saadi, and Eng. Nizar Haitham, in which President Al-Zubaidi reviewed the results of the external visits and the meetings carried out by the leadership of the Council and the negotiating delegation, foremost of which is the official visit to the Russian capital, Moscow, and the talks held by the leadership of the Council and its delegation with Russian officials, stressing that there were constructive and important discussions and results will be positively reflected on the future of the southern issue soon.

President Al-Zubaidi pointed out that the Transitional Council was able to make the southern issue a cornerstone for any future solutions, and that this issue or its representative, the Southern Transitional Council, cannot be overlooked or circumvented.

President Al-Zubaidi noted that the Transitional Council is aware of the greatness of the responsibility entrusted to it, according to the popular mandate it was granted, stressing that it was and will remain the voice expressing the aspirations of the people, and its solid pillar on which it is based.

President Al-Zubaidi affirmed that the Southern Transitional Council is fully committed to its pledges and agreements signed, foremost of which is the Riyadh Agreement that was sponsored by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reiterating his call for the government of parity to perform its main tasks specified in accordance with the agreement, foremost of which is providing basic services to citizens and addressing economic collapse and the downfall in the value of the local currency, and not to be drawn to issues that have nothing to do with the citizens' livelihood, but which increase their suffering, warning that the patience of our people in the attempts of torturing them that aimed to bring them on their knees will not be long, and the Transitional Council will only be on the side of the citizens and wherever they are.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need for the National Assembly committees to fulfill their responsibilities entrusted to them, foremost of which is activating their oversight role to ensure the quality of administrative performance and enhance it, curb corrupt and manipulative people, and preserve the people's rights and capabilities.

President Al-Zubaidi expressed the Council's readiness to contribute to any possible solutions to improve the situation in the capital Aden and the governorates, according to the capabilities available to them, stressing that the leadership of the Council will spare no effort in order to alleviate the suffering of our people in light of these difficult conditions.

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, listened from the attendees to a full explanation of the issues and conditions of citizens, and the difficult living conditions they suffer of in Aden the capital, and the rest of the southern governorates, urging them to draw closer to the citizens and touch on their needs, and to present proposals that would help in recovering the situation from its current reality.
