President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi receives the French Ambassador to Yemen

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Commander Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Monday, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the French Ambassador to Yemen, Mr. Christian Testo.

The meeting discussed many files, top of which is the humanitarian file and the political and security files, as well as the developments in the efforts sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed on the importance of supporting peace and stability, and uniting efforts to limit the worsening of the humanitarian situation, and imposing security and combating terrorism, and he praised the medical and humanitarian efforts of the French Doctors Without Borders organization in confronting the Corona virus in Aden the capital and the South.

For his part, the French ambassador expressed his pleasure for this meeting, and his appreciation for the stance of the Southern Transitional Council, stressing his country's position regarding the importance of the Riyadh Agreement and the need to address the outstanding issues and intensify efforts towards resolving the humanitarian file.

The meeting was attended by the negotiating delegation that is accompanying the President of the Southern Transitional Council including; Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, member of the Presidency of the Council, head of the Negotiation Affairs Unit, and members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Yafi, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Ghaithi, deputy head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs.
