President Al-Zubaidi meets the delegation of Geneva Call
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Saturday, the delegation of Geneva Call organization, headed by the regional director, Amal Hamdallah.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi got acquainted on the nature of the organization and its works and efforts.
President Al-Zubaidi discussed with the organization's delegation the coordination of efforts in the area of the prohibition of violence against women during armed conflicts, and the elimination of discrimination on the basis of gender, and the protection of children during armed conflicts.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed on the Transitional Council's support for the efforts of the organization, confirming the Transitional Council's keenness to safeguard the rights of women and children, and the concern to provide them a decent life, and to prevent them being exposed to violation whatever are the circumstances.
