In the meeting, which was inaugurated with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the President delivered a speech in which he greeted the attendees, including sheikhs, dignitaries, notables, and social personalities, expressing his happiness for being present among his dear brothers in the city of Al-Mukalla.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the major importance that Hadramout represents in the project of the South as the historical and cultural heritage and the pillar of an effective contribution to shaping the future of generations.

The President called on the people of Hadramout for more cohesiveness, rapprochement, and unification of the ranks, affirming that their distinctive marks should be present not only in this current phase but also in the future, as they were strongly and prominently present in the past.

The President praised the active participation of the people of Hadramout in the southern national dialogue, indicating that this reflects the interest of the people of Hadramout in the unity of the southern ranks and their keenness to participate in drawing the features of the future state of the South.

The President addressed the attendees: "We have been pursuing dialogue out of keenness that we all assume the responsibility of this country and as a civilized value to resolve differences; we have a right and we will get it back, and we will completely defend our rights and our gains for which our people have been sacrificing trains of martyrs and wounded."

The president added, "The national dialogue was the first building block for shaping the features of our civilized, Arab, and Islamic state of the South. In this respect, we will only come up with a political system satisfyingly acceptable to all, in which we all will definitely be an active part and a source of security and stability in the entire region."

In his speech, the President, too, highly valued the role of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, affirming moving forward in partnership to defend the Arab project as brothers and neighbours.

President Al-Zubaidi concluded his speech by saying, "O people of Hadramout, have full confidence that the state of the South will definitely be restored through sterling will and steadfastness."

Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Buhsni had initially delivered a speech in which he welcomed the visit of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and members of the National Assembly of Hadramout, affirming that the presence of the people of the South in Al-Mukalla is a defining historical moment.

Major General Al-Buhsni added, "The grand success of the Southern National Dialogue and our joining the STC will represent an addition to the STC to share dialogue efforts among all forces, as the South requires all its people to get rid of the remnants of the past."

The Vice President of the STC confirmed that his accession to the leadership of the STC came after consultations with President Al-Zubaidi to encounter the jeopardy and sensitivity of this phase, as the cause of the South can only triumph with cohesiveness, supporting the language of love and peace, and rejecting hatred and violence, noting that this is sufficient to convey the message of the South to all.

Al-Buhsni, too, affirming the status of Hadramout and its political, cultural, and enlightening role, added by saying: "Hadramaut will surely take its right, so there is no fear for Hadramout at all."

Major General Al-Buhsni underscored that the leadership must be given full confidence to lead the phase, indicating that they will do their best to find a suitable solution to the most important problems facing citizens.

Major General Al-Buhsni addressed the attendees at the end of his speech, saying: "We have a lot of hard work ahead of us after we suffered a lot in the previous phase. We have to establish a transparent and efficient system that depends on well-qualified people and gives them the opportunity to work."

After that, President Al-Zubaidi and his two vice presidents listened to a range of interventions by the attendees, in which they raised certain problems and concerns of the people of the governorate and ways that can contribute to solving them, affirming their support for all the steps of President Al-Zubaidi for southern cohesiveness and rapprochement and their standing behind him until the state of the South regains its full sovereignty.
