President Al-Zubaidi Issues Decree No. (1) 2023 on Amending STC's Statute
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), issued a decree No. (1) of the year 2023 regarding amending the STC's statute on Wednesday evening.
The decree included the creation of a number of central bodies and auxiliary bodies to the Presidium and the merging of several committees of the National Assembly, departments of the General Secretariat, and executive administrations in the local leaderships in the governorates and districts of the South.
The decree, too, included a number of other articles on regulating membership, rights, duties, and so on.
This decree comes to embody the sincere directives of President Al-Zubaidi to restructure the STC, make a change in the means of work of the STC in its various bodies, activate the mechanisms of planning, organizing, controlling, and monitoring performance, guarantee effectiveness in the task performance of the STC's leaders, and ensure accountability for negligence.
Furthermore, this decree comes to embody the sincere will of the leadership of the STC to include everyone through dialogue that can strengthen the unity of the southern ranks, project its outcomes within the framework of its bodies, and properly perform the struggling tasks of leading the people of the South to restore their state.
