President Al-Zubaidi Lays Stress on SLREA to Assume Responsibility for Preserving Lands and Real Estate of the State

President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and the deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) met on Tuesday, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the director of the State Lands and Real Estate Authority (SLREA), Mr. Anis Baharitha.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the director of the Authority on the efforts made to preserve public lands and real estate and stop the remissing and illegal issuing of real estate and land in the liberated governorates, in addition to all the violations that occurred in the public lands and the parties behind them.

President Al-Zubaidi gave directives to the director of the Public Lands and Real Estate Authority not to deal with any directives affecting state-owned lands under any justification, and also directed the local authorities in the governorates to cooperate with the authority to enable them to assume their responsibilities and perform their tasks to the fullest. In the context, the president noted that any procedures or issuing of public lands are null and void, as well as a blatant violation of the stipulated laws.

President Al-Zubaidi, too, affirmed that any sale, purchase, or issuing of state-owned lands outside the law is considered nil and void, and we will deal firmly with whoever is evidenced to be involved in the remissness of the public-owned properties.

For his part, the head of the Public Lands and Real Estate Authority expressed his thanks for the interest shown by President Al-Zubaidi in following up on this file and his support for the efforts made by the board of the authority to address remissing in the public lands and real estate.
