President Al-Zubaidi: There is a Civilized and Developmental Arab Project must triumph in the region

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Sunday evening, received journalists and media members participating in the media axis in Riyadh consultations sponsored by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the States of the Arab Gulf (GCC).

In the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al-Alimi Bawazir, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his happiness to meet this group of journalists and media members after the immense results achieved in all axes of Riyadh consultations.

The president Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts that have been made to bring the consultations to success, esspecially the eforts of the official brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Cooperation Council for the States of the Arab Gulf (GCC), stressing that these results have become a starting point for a new historical stage in the entire region.

The president Al-Zubaidi added, "What concerns us, today, is making public opinion and steering it to the right direction, against the sole enemy represented by Houthi militias that have brought havoc to the land."

The president stressed the need to stop bickering and polemics, and "each one must assume his own responsibility, to confront the sole enemy that is trying, in vain, to spread an alien sectarian ideological culture to our country and region."

The president continued his speech, saying: "Whoever looks deeply into the composition of the Presidential Leadership Council will realize the reality of the upcoming stage," noting that "the next stage is crucial, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, who have spared no effort, neither money nor weapons nor blood, and this stage requires working hard on all fronts.”

The president Al-Zubaidi pointed out that the political, media, and social fronts are no less important than the military frontlines, stressing that "today everyone is recruited with the country until this transitional period ends, after which democracy will take its track, and who has a right is going to get it both in the South and the North, as well as there is a revolution exported from the outside of the country, and there is a civilized and developmental Arab project that must triumph in this region.”

In the end of his speech, the president Al-Zubaidi reiterated importance of unity of media discourse to avoid bickering that opponents are trying to provoke through social media, wishing success to all for the interest of the country.
