The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, stressed that Hadramout is an integral part of the South, and its solid cornerstone in the face of enemies, stressing that all conspiracies seeking to undermine the ancient history of Hadramout, and the struggles of its great sons will fail as its predecessors failed.
This came on Thursday, during the meeting of the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, with members of the National Assembly from Hadramout governorate, who participated in the fourth session of the National Assembly, which was held in the capital, Aden, under the slogan “Completing the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement is our demand and restoring the state is our goal” during the period “16-17” of current June.
At the outset of the meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President Al-Zubaidi praised the active role of the people of Hadramout and their tremendous sacrifices in defense of the South and its just cause.
President Al-Zubaidi noted to the importance of strengthening the political work in Hadramout, as it is the depth of political work in the South since 1996, stressing that as just the work of the Southern Movement started from Hadramout, the role strengthening the southern institutions should start from Hadramout as well.
President Al-Zubaidi pointed out that the attempts to divide and scatter Hadramout, to remove it from the southern consensus, will not succeed, noting that the Council, and before it all the people of Hadramout, will stand strong in the face of these miserable attempts.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of strengthening the Hadrami cohesion and the unity of the Hadrami society, in the face of conspiracies being hatched against Hadramout and the South in general, pointing out that the people of the South are going through a fateful stage, which requires the solidarity of all, strengthening cohesion, and consolidating the principle of reconciliation and tolerance.
President Al-Zubaidi also praised the great role played by the members of the National Assembly of the Council in Hadramout, and the efforts they are making to enhance the presence of the Council among the community, stressing that the Transitional Council will work hard to meet all the requirements of Hadramout and its people.
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi briefed the members of the National Assembly of the Council from the sons of Hadramout on the most prominent outcomes of his meeting with a group of leaders, social figures and leaders of civil society organizations from Hadramout, and the Council’s affirmation of its rejection, and its condemnation of all the absurd practices carried out by the Brotherhood militia against the sons of the valley, and disavowed its leaders to implement their interim commitments towards the people of the governorate, who suffer from the deterioration of services.
In turn, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, stressed that the Transitional Council is owned by the people, and came from them, and for them, pointing to the importance of uniting the efforts of all in the interest of the south and its cause.
Major General bin Brik spoke about the success of the fourth session of the National Assembly, which was held in the capital, Aden, and the complex and complicated issues it discussed, and solutions and treatments proposed for it.
Major General Bin Brik reviewed the outcomes of the fourth session, stressing the importance of working in a team spirit to meet the needs of citizens.
For their part, members of the National Assembly of the Council from Hadramout expressed their happiness at meeting President Al-Zubaidi, expressing appreciation for the internal and external movements of the Council, as well as the efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi, aimed at restoring and building the federal southern state with its full sovereignty over its entire national land before May 21, 1990.
At the end of the meeting, the members briefed President Al-Zubaidi on all the fierce service war that the governorate is facing aimed at subjugating the people of Hadramout, as is the case in the rest of the southern governorates, stressing that the people of Hadramout will continue to walk at a steady pace behind the Southern Transitional Council led by the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi until achieving the full southern national goals.
