President Al-Zubaidi meets with members of the National Assembly and the Executive Body of Transitional Council in Abyan

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Thursday, with members of the National Assembly and the Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Council in Abyan Governorate.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of the pivotal role of Abyan governorate, whether in its geographical location, or in the historical struggle roles of its people and its legacy, and the sacrifices and daring heroism it offers today in our battle against terrorism, and defense of the land of the south and the liberation gains of its people, noting that Abyan governorate will win thanks for its heroes in all areas of life.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed to the members of the National Assembly and the local leadership of Abyan Governorate the necessity of carrying out their supervisory and societal role entrusted to them, addressing them by saying: “You are the representatives of the people, so be by their side, and be as your people want you, and extend bridges of cooperation and joint action with your brothers in the local, security and military authority to pull Abyan out of its current situation."

President Al-Zubaidi called on the leadership of the local authority, security and military in Abyan, to extricate the governorate from the schemes of chaos and revenge, after the governorate suffered from the conspiracies, scourge and evils of terrorism and its forces and organizations, more than any other governorate, pointing out that this terrorism is being systematically pushed to Abyan to take revenge on it in particular, and the south in general.

In turn, the member of the Presidency of the Council, Mr. Abdul Rahman Sheikh, said: "We suffer from many difficulties in the governorate of Abyan, the coast, the delta and the mountain, but under your leadership and standing by your brothers in Abyan, we will overcome all difficulties and problems and we will get Abyan out of the quagmire of chaos and terrorism created by the tools of the occupation." , stressing the need for concerted efforts to get Abyan governorate out from its current situation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi, listened from them to the most important difficulties and problems they face in performing their duties, and the available means to address them.

The members of the National Assembly and the local leadership of Abyan governorate briefed President Al-Zubaidi on the latest developments in the governorate, appreciating the great efforts he is making in order to achieve the goal of the people of the south of restoring the independent state of the south over its entire land.
