President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), congratulated our people of the South both at home and abroad on the 10th anniversary of the liberation of the capital, Aden, and the launch of the Decisive Storm.
It was stated in a post on his excellency's social media accounts, the full text of which is as follows:
On the tenth anniversary of liberating the capital, Aden, from the terrorist Houthi militia, we do recall with immense pride and honor the epics of steadfastness, firm resilience, ultimate sacrifices, and victories embodied by the heroes of the Southern Resistance—the residents of Aden—on this blessed day, the 27th of Ramadan. This year's commemoration coincides with the anniversary of the launch of the Decisive Storm, spearheaded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which marked a historic Arab stance against the Iranian project and its terrorist proxies, contributing to defending the security and stability of the entire region.
We reaffirm our unwavering resolve to our people and to the trains of blessed martyrs and wounded that we will steadfastly pursue their path until we fully realize our aspirations to restore the state of the South, strengthening its security and stability and securing the future we aspire to achieve.
Simultaneously, we reiterate our pledge and loyalty to the Arab coalition, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to continue our joint efforts in promoting security and stability in the region and solidifying the pillars of victory against threats undermining the security of our homelands and peoples, as the fateful alliance that unites us will definitely remain steadfast, rooted in genuine fraternity and a shared destiny.
