President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), congratulated our people of the South both at home and abroad on the 57th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day, November 30.
It was stated in a post on his social media pages, the full text of which is as follows:
On such a momentous day, 57 years ago, from the capital, Aden, the sun of freedom and first national independence rose over our beloved Southern homeland، and after a long journey of unrelenting struggle and resistance, our fathers and forefathers carved one of the greatest epics of liberation revolutions, culminating in the declaration of full independence on November 30, 1967.
As we commemorate the 57th anniversary of our glorious independence day, we proudly recall the epic struggles and great ultimate sacrifices made by our revolutionaries. Inspired by their resilience and determination, we press forward on the path illuminated by the blood of our Southern liberation martyrs, striving to restore our fully sovereign, independent state.
On this glorious national occasion that is dear to all our hearts, I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to our people of the South, both at home and abroad, to the valiant heroes of our Southern Armed Forces picketed at the battle fronts of honor and heroism, to the noble women of the South, its promising youth, future generations, and those in their prime of life and blooms. We renew our firm pledge to pursue the path of our blessed martyrs until we achieve the aspirations of our people to restore their free and independent state within its regional and internationally recognized borders prior to May 21, 1990.
Mercy for our blessed martyrs, speedy recovery for our noble wounded, and victory for the South.
