Aden's Stars Sports Club for the Blind successfully marked its five-year founding anniversary celebrations yesterday, Sunday, in the presence of Mr. Fadi Ba'oum, a member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC).
During the celebration event, generously sponsored by the local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the STC in the capital, Aden, Ms. Arwa Al-Omari, Head of the Aden Stars Club for the Blind, delivered a speech expressing her sincere gratitude to Mr. Maomen Al-Saqqaf, a member of the STC's Presidium and Head of the LLEB of the capital Aden, for his immense and unwavering support for the club. She also extended her thanks to Mr. Fadi Baoum, a member of the STC's Presidium, for his presence at the closing celebration and to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.
The final day of the activities hosted in the gymnasium of the Sports City in Sheikh Othman witnessed the final match of the goalball amid a thrilling competitive atmosphere with
which the fans highly interacted by cheering on the intense competition.
At the conclusion of the event, a number of participants and winners of the tournament were honoured with medals and cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performance in the competitions and their active participation in the club's anniversary celebrations.
The closing celebration was attended by Mohammed Jaru-Allah, Director of the Department of Social and Public Affairs, the management and members of the Aden Stars Club for the Blind, and a number of members of the STC members of the LLEB of the capital, Aden.
