The STC of Al Mahfid Holds Consultative Meeting for Female Activists in the District


The Women and Children Administration of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the district of Al Mahfid, Abyan Governorate, organized today, Sunday, a consultative meeting with a number of female activists in the district.

Mr. Mahdi Muqbil, Head of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) in Al Mahfid, stressed the importance of the meeting in strengthening the role of southern women in society and praised their role in building communities in all fields, pointing out that the STC's leadership pays great attention to women's rights to achieve their political and social rights and participate with their male brothers in the unrelenting struggle to restore the state of the South.

Ms. Salha Al-Dabiya, Head of the Women and Child Administration, highlighted the importance of women's role in the various stages of the struggle and their support for their male brothers in construction and development. She expressed her appreciation for the attention and care given by the STC's leadership in the governorate and district to women and for providing them with activities and programs through which they can register a positive presence in society, both organizationally and politically.

The meeting discussed many topics and issues related to women's work in the district and mechanisms to enhance their pioneering role in society, as well as it addressed a range of issues that enhance the role of women in various fields of work, strive to empower them politically, economically, and socially, and activate women's centers in the district.
