In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful
"O reassured soul, Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing (to Him), And enter among My (righteous) servants, And enter My Paradise" Allah Almighty is truthful.
It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we receive the painful news of the death of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait.
With this major loss that befell the brotherly state of Kuwait, along with the Arab and Islamic nation, we, on behalf of the leadership of the STC and the people of the South, both at home and abroad, extend our deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy to His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and through him to the brotherly people of Kuwait, praying to Allah, the Almighty, to bestow His vast mercy on him, dwell him in His paradise, and grant patience and solace to all aching hearts.
The painful passing of HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at this difficult time does not represent a loss for Kuwait alone, but it represents a major loss for its Arab and Islamic surroundings, which, with his passing, lost a wise leader who led his country towards fulfilling a renaissance and pioneering achievements that strengthened its distinguished status and effective presence at the Arab, regional, and international levels.
In this regard, we cannot fail to recall and will gratefully remember with great pride the positions of the State of Kuwait and its late Emir towards our people and the generous aid and support they provided in various aspects of life, and under all circumstances.
Again, we offer our condolences to the leadership and people of brotherly Kuwait, and we pray to Allah, the Almighty, to dwell the late Emir with His vast mercy and forgiveness, to rest in peace in His paradise, and to grant patience and solace to his family, people, and all his true-lovers.
"Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return."
