President Al-Zubaidi Returns to the Capital, Aden, After Official Visits

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), returned on Tuesday afternoon to the capital, Aden, after foreign working visits to a number of brotherly and friendly countries.

The President's foreign tour included participation in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, on the sidelines of which his excellency held a series of meetings with leaders of a number of brotherly and friendly countries, in addition to attending the large festival event held by the Southern Community in the USA and Canada in honour of his first visit to the United States.

Furthermore, the President's tour included the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which he held a number of meetings with ambassadors and representatives of countries sponsoring the political process in the country to accelerate international and regional efforts to end the war and bring about peace to the country and the entire region.

The President was accompanied on the return trip to the capital, Aden, by the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas.
