President Al-Zubaidi: our southern armed forces vow zero tolerance in defending our people and fulfilling their legitimate aspirations

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), affirmed that the Southern Armed Forces will be relentless in defending our southern people and their national cause and the protection of their legitimate aspirations while chairing today, Sunday, an expanded virtual meeting with commanders and officers of the Southern Military and Security Armed Forces.

At the beginning of the meeting, the president warmly welcomed the command of the Fourth Military Division, the command of the ground forces, the commanders of axes, Brigades, military units, the command of the Security Belt, security general directors, and commanders of security units, praising the high fighting spirit enjoyed by the personnel of the southern armed forces and the security vigilance among the security units, which resulted in maintaining security and stability in the capital Aden and all the governorates of the South.

The meeting stood before the continued escalation of the Houthi militias in various confronting lines on the Bayhan, Karesh, Tur Al-Baha, Yafe'a, and Al-Dhale'a fronts and the terrorist elements who targeted with live bullets the peaceful mass rally that came out in seiyun in the Hadramout Valley to commemorate the 29th anniversary of the Southern Land Day on Friday, July 7, right in front of the troops of the first Military Division.

In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the protection of the people of the South is the responsibility of the southern armed forces and security services, as well as the Southern Resistance, and that they will do their duty to protect Hadramaut from terrorism targeting it at the appropriate time.

Furthermore, the meeting discussed the procedures for restructuring the military forces and security services, qualifying and training plans for the southern armed forces and security units, promoting their capabilities and raising their combat efficiency in the theater of military operations, and continuing efforts to well-qualify officers and personnel in military and security educational facilities.
