The city of Seiyun, the urban centre of Hadramaut's Valley and Desert, witnessed a million-person "Victory Rally" calling for the declaration of South Arabia State, as large-scale mass crowds from across the governorate participated, and the rally issued a statement, the full text of which follows:
Final Statement of the Victory Rally and Declaration of the South Arabia State
(Seiyun – Hadramaut)
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O great masses of the people of South Arabia...
O proud sons of Hadramaut, from the Valley, Desert, Coast, and Plateau...
O strugglers in every part of our sacred Southern homeland
O you who have gathered here today in Seiyun to write a new page in the chapters of victory, dignity, and fidelity to the ultimate sacrifices of the blessed martyrs...
The vast masses of the South declare to the entire world that the era of hesitation is over and the time for decision has come. From upon the soil of Hadramaut's Valley and Desert, where the banners of victory raised by the valiant arms of your people in the Hadrami Elite Force (HEF) and Southern Armed Forces (SAF) flutter, we announce the beginning of a new chapter in our people's history.
While celebrating the great victories achieved by the Southern Armed Forces, these massive masses reaffirm the following:
Firstly: The large-scale massive crowds commend the major victories achieved by the SAF, culminating in the liberation of the districts of Hadramaut's Valley and Desert and Al-Mahra Governorate, cleansing them of terrorist groups, smuggling networks, and subversion. This is a national achievement embodying the ultimate sacrifices of heroes and genuine allegiance to the land and identity.
Secondly: They reaffirm that the victories achieved are a long-awaited Southern entitlement and the legitimate right of the people of the South to secure their land and protect their resources. This in no way constitutes aggression against any party, internal or external, but is a necessary step to consolidate security, stability, and serve regional peace.
Thirdly: The masses stress that the continued presence of the SAF and their pursuit of national duties alongside the HEF in securing the Valley and Desert districts is a popular demand of the people of Hadramaut, who see these forces as a safety valve and a genuine guarantee for stability and protecting gains. There can be no acceptance or relinquishment of the hard-won achievements made.
Fourthly: Arising from popular mandate and embodying the sterling will of the gathered masses, the rally reiterates its call to President Aidarous bin Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the STC President, to declare the South Arabia State, announce general mobilisation across all governorates of the South, and take the necessary political, security, and military decisions and measures to fortify the victories and protect the South from any attempts to break the will of its people or circumvent their sacrifices.
Fifthly: The masses salute with all pride and honour the ministries, institutions, and local authorities in various governorates of the South that have declared their explicit alignment with the Southern homeland and the interests of its people, standing alongside the decisions of the political leadership in a responsible national stance reflecting an awareness of the stage and the magnitude of challenges.
Sixthly: The crowds reaffirm that Hadramaut, in all its geography and components, has been and will forever remain an integral part of South Arabia, and that any attempts to split ranks or dismantle the Hadrami-Southern fabric are destined to fail in the face of this broad popular alignment.
Seventhly: The crowds reaffirm that true legitimacy today lies with the people of the South, expressed through these peaceful million-person crowds—a legitimacy derived from the land, identity, history, and sacrifices. The people of the South are the original right-holders in determining their future, and they know best what serves their interests and preserves their security and dignity, and there is no guardianship over their will, and no legitimacy supersedes their free voice.
Eighthly: The masses reaffirm that the project of restoring and building a fully sovereign, independent South Arabia State within its recognised historical borders has become an inclusive national choice that is not open to negotiation or half-solutions. All alternative or temporary projects are destined to fall in the face of the steadfastness of popular will.
Ninthly: The masses of the South reaffirm their steadfast commitment to enhancing and developing fraternal and strategic relations with their brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and the Gulf Cooperation Council states, as relations based on shared interests, respect for sovereignty, cooperation in maintaining regional security and stability, and confronting shared threats.
Tenthly: The crowds urge all citizens of Hadramaut across their social, political, and tribal segments to coalsce around the HEF as the true guarantor of Hadramaut's security and stability, as its personnel have been known as a disciplined, professional force committed to protecting citizens and safeguard their interests.
The masses also stress the importance of standing with the SAF, which ended the influence of the First Military Region forces that Hadramaut suffered under these forces for long years, during which they became an umbrella for corruption and the squandering of resources—as recent facts have revealed, foremost among them the shutdown of illegal oil refineries operating outside the framework of the state and for the benefit of influence networks that harmed Hadramaut and its people.
Your solidarity with your armed forces is the fundamental guarantee for securing your safety, protecting your resources, and preventing the return of any subversive forces or potentials of influence that harmed Hadramaut over the past years.
In conclusion, from Seiyun in the heart of Hadramaut's Valley and Desert, the lareg-scale massive crowds of the South renew their covenant to the martyrs, wounded, and prisoners. They declare that the march of liberation and independence will continue to its end, and that the victory achieved today is a prelude to greater victories, leading to the declaration of the independent federal state of the South and the building of a future worthy of the ultimate sacrifices of this great people.
Glory to South Arabia,
Eternal life to the blessed martyrs, and victory to the sterling will of the people of the South.
Issued by the Million-Person Victory Rally and Declaration of the South Arabia State
