President Al-Zubaidi Congratulates Major Generals Al-Subaihi, Mansour, and Comrades for Being Released from Prisons of Houthi Militia

President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), congratulated Major General Mahmoud Ahmed Salem Al-Subaihi, former Minister of Defense, and Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi and their comrades for being swapped out of the prisons of the Houthi militia today, Friday, and for their safe return to their homeland and their families.

President Al-Zubaidi added, in the congratulatory message that he posted on his social media pages, "Verily, we assure our uncompromising people that the efforts we have been exerting are incessantly continuing to release all prisoners and detainees. The freedom of each Southerner is part and parcel of the liberation of the land; we will not calm down or close an eyelid until all the imprisoned and detained Southerners safely return to their families."

And the President continued: "We applaud all the efforts made by our negotiating team throughout the phases of the swapping negotiations, the endeavors of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and whatever efforts are made to release our prisoners and return them safely to their homeland and beloved ones."

President Al-Zubaidi concluded his congratulation by saying: "We assure our heroic prisoners who returned today, and those who are still in militia prisons, that the years you spent behind bars with sterling will and steadfastness have not gone in vain and will definitely remain a source of pride for your state of the South and your people."
