President Al-Zubaidi Meets Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom

President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), received on Sunday evening Mr. Ali Hassan Al-Kayed, the ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Saudi Arabia. 

At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed Ambassador Al-Kayed and praised Jordan's brotherly and humanitarian role towards Yemen, as it was at the forefront of countries that opened their doors to Yemenis fleeing from the war and seeking treatment and pursuing education.

 The meeting discussed ways to strengthen the historical relations between the two counties, enhance bilateral cooperation in security and military fields, build capacities of government employees, and empower women. In this regard, Ambassador Al-Kayed expressed his government's readiness to provide all possible support to the armed forces and security service in terms of training and qualifying after the destruction caused by the war.

 The ambassador also reiterated his government's support for efforts to bring peace and end the war in Yemen, which would restore security and stability to the entire region after years of conflict.
