President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, chaired this evening, Sunday, an expanded meeting of the southern military commanders.
At the start of the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief welcomed the commanders of the military units present from the various governorates of the south, commending the great efforts made by the military services to impose a state of security and stability, and preserve public tranquility for citizens.
The President reaffirmed that the huge sacrifices made by the heroes of the armed and military forces, and the pure blood of the blessed martyrs who gave their lives cheaply in sacrifice for the south, and in victory for its just cause, will remain a source of pride for all the people of the south, and a red line that cannot be compromised.
The Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of remaining in high readiness and vigilance, and raising the degree of security and operational coordination between all military units, in order to ensure the implementation of security tasks efficiently and effectively.
At the end of his speech, the President noted that the upcoming restructuring process will not be limited to the political and organizational aspect of the STC, but will also include the military and security forces, and will be carried out according to precise foundations and standards, to ensure the best performance.
After that, the Commander-in-Chief listened to a number of interventions about the progress of military work during the last period, and the needs and requirements to strengthen and develop work to keep pace with the development of crime tools and means, providing the appropriate clarifications in this regard.
