The General Secretariat reviews report on economic scene and level of discipline of its employees

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its weekly periodic meeting on Monday, at its headquarters in the capital Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, and in the presence of Eng. Nizar Haitham, member of the Council's Presidency, Head of the Executive Authority for the Transitional Council in Aden the Capital.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the official visit of the President of the Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi,  to the Russian capital, Moscow, at the head of a high-level delegation, upon an official invitation from the Russian government, indicating that it reflects the responsibility of the Council in bringing the cause of the people of the South to the international level, and to take them on a safe path to achieve their aspirations and goals of liberation, independence and restoration of the State.

The meeting reviewed the economic scene report submitted by the Economic Department, which presented the most prominent economic developments and events related to the South, foremost of which is the report of the international experts team that dealt with the violations of the Central Bank related to the mechanism of its administration in dealing with the Saudi deposit, in which the report provided some examples of these violations especially in regard to its association with specific merchants.

The economic report included other corruption issues that the experts team report has not addressed, such as currency exchange rate manipulation, smuggling operations and other issues related to this aspect.

The economic report also touched upon the case of crises in the capital and other southern governorates on the service side, and its repercussions on citizens and their livelihood, and the proposals and recommendations to solve it.

The meeting also previewed the job discipline report submitted by the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, for the staff of the General Secretariat departments, which included details of the attendance rate of the employees of each department.

In its discussions, the meeting focused on the most important service, security and military issues in the southern arena and other issues of concern to citizens and related to their living conditions.

The meeting also reviewed the weekly activity reports of the General Secretariat departments, which included the main activities carried out by the departments and their work teams during the past week. The meeting also reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
