Statement by the Official Spokesman about the siege and targeting of Abdan and Jebbah regions in Nisab district of Shabwa
"In a dangerous development, the occupying Muslim Brotherhood militias in Shabwa governorate, on Friday evening, laid siege and targeted Abdan and Jebbah regions in Nisab district, with barbaric bombardment with tanks and artillery shells, in an attempt to thwart the peaceful activity called for by the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the governorate to be held on Saturday, to express peacefully the will and aspirations of the people of Shabwa governorate, and to support completing the implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement.
We hold those terrorist militias in Shabwa governorate fully responsible for this blatant and brutal aggression and what could result from it, expressing our full and complete stand with our people in Shabwa, and at the same time stressing that the negotiating delegation of the Southern Transitional Council will have a position on what is happening if these militias continue their attempts to suppress the peaceful activity in the governorate".
