The Presidency of Southern Transitional Council holds its weekly meeting chaired by Lamlas

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Sunday, its weekly meeting, chaired by Ahmed Hamed Lamals, the Secretary General of the Presidency of Southern Transitional Council, the Acting President of the Transitional Council.

The meeting discussed the political developments on the southern arena, foremost of which are the obstacles of the Brotherhood's forces of influence in the Yemeni government put on the way of implementing the Riyadh Agreement, asking the Arab coalition to direct towards implementing the Riyadh Agreement and redirect the situation to its correct course according to the Agreement chronic mechanism specified in its clauses, which imposes the implementation of the political side related to the appointment of a governor of the capital Aden and its director of security, and consulting to form a government, and the withdrawal of northern forces from Abyan and Shabwa to Marib.

The Presidency stressed on the need to compel the other party to immediately halt the recruitment of terrorist forces and mobilize them to blow the military and security status in Aden the capital and the southern governorates, and putting pressure on the government and its forces to go to the fronts to stop the terrible fall of its units in the governorates of Sana'a, Marib, and Al-Jawf, and reveal the nature of the plot of the Brotherhood with the Houthis against the South and the Arab Coalition.

For the internal affairs, the Presidency reviewed reports on the performance of the National Assembly and its committees, as well as reports on the performance of the departments of the General Secretariat and local leaderships in the governorates, in addition to a report submitted by the Negotiations Affairs Unit, and the necessary measures to be taken in this regard.
