Southern Dialogue Committee meets Revolutionary Movement for the Liberation and Independence of the South

The Southern Dialogue Committee of the Southern Transitional Council headed by Major General Ahmad Saeed Bin Brik, Head of the Southern Dialogue Committee in the Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Monday within the second phase of the Southern Dialogue the Supreme Council of Revolutionary Movement for the Liberation and Independence of the South headed by Dr. Zaid Qasim Thabet, Chairman of the Dialogue Committee of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement for the Liberation and Independence of the South.

The meeting dealt with a number of topics that concern the southern arena.

In the meeting, both sides stressed on the principle of liberation and independence and the restoration of the state as an alternative to the people of the South.

The participants praised the victories achieved by the southern resistance forces in the military confrontations with al-Houthi militias on various southern fronts, especially the Dhalea fronts.

They stressed on the rejection of the attempts to hold sessions of the Yemeni parliament in Aden or in any other southern cities, and agreed to unify the political and media discourse in the south.
