Ben Brik visits Doctors Without Borders Hospital

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, visited on Thursday the Hospital of Doctors Without Borders in Aden the capital.

Ben Brik was accompanied by Fadhl Al-Ja'adi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Transitional Council, and Dr. Nasser Al-Khobji, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, and Dr. Abdul-Nasser Al-Wali, Head of the Transitional Council Local Leadership in Aden, and Dr. Hakim Al-Khalidi, Deputy Head of Mdecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders ) Mission in Yemen.

In his visit, Ben Brik toured in the hospital sections, and was briefed on the status and conditions of the sick and wounded there.

The Chairman of the National Assembly praised the role played by the hospital of Doctors Without Borders in its services provided to its guests in performing critical medical operations that saved many lives, in addition to its humanitarian efforts for the people of Aden the capital and the neighboring regions and provinces, stressing on the support of the Southern Transitional Council to facilitate these efforts.

Ben Brik also emphasized on the Transitional Council support for the hospital to work in a safe environment, in which he condemned the irresponsible inhuman acts of assaulting the hospital and abducting the wounded from inside.
