The STC Local Leadership of Dar-Sa'ad District Holds its Founding Meeting

  Under the auspices of the president of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, the STC local leadership of Dar-Sa'ad district in Aden held its first constitutive meeting today in presence of the President of the local leadership in the governorate, Dr. Abdul Nasser Al - Wali.

  After reciting several verses from the Holy Quran and playing the Southern National Anthem, the head of the STC local leadership in Aden governorate, Dr. Abdul Nasser Al - Wali pronounced a speech in which he welcomed all the attendees and praised the heroic role played by Dar-Sa'ad district throughout the struggle history, since the British occupation till the recent war on Aden, affirming that the proclamation of the local leaderships will continue in all the capital's districts under the support and guidance of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi and his deputy, Sheikh Hani bin Brik.

  For his part, head of the STC local leadership of Dar-Sa'ad district, Abdullah Naji Rashed confirmed that all the members in Dar-Sa'ad stand by the STC leadership represented by the president of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, adding that they will work hard to strengthen southern national unity in order to face internal and external threats and to combat terrorism in all its forms.

  Abdullah Naji Rashed highly valued the efforts exerted by the STC leadership to represent the objectives and aspirations of the southern people and their right to restore their fully sovereign state.

  The meeting formed the executive body and named the members of the local leadership of Dar-Sa'ad district.
