Founding meeting to announce leadership of Southern Transition Council in Ghail Bawazeer

The founding meeting to announce the leadership of the Southern Transition Council (STC) in the district of Ghail Bawazeer in Hadramout was  held in presence of the council leadership of the province.

The meeting started with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the southern national anthem chanted. After that the head of STC in Ghail Bawazeer – Omar Abdullah Hamdoon, delivered a welcome speech. Hamdoon said that the southern peace struggling march since launching in 2007 required a political tool to protect the southern national case. He pointed to the formation of local councils in the South as completion to construct the organizational structure in all provinces and districts in the South, including Ghail Bawazeer district, hoping at the end of his speech to enhance the good relations bonds within district citizens away from patterns, with class work to achieve the effective contribution of this civilized, well-known district with its scientific and cultural heritage in the liberation struggle.

After that, the Southern Transition Council decree announced with the 51 members of the council leadership in the district. Then the head of STC in the district announced the decision to name the executive board members of the council.

Anwar Al-Tamimi – vice president of STC in Hadramout, delivered a speech pointing to the importance of the Southern Transition Council at these moments to the people of the South, stating to the role and importance of Ghail Bawazeer district in leading the southern peace struggle in the area.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Adnan Mohammed Homran - the general manager of Ghail Bawazeer district, and a number of interested citizens
