Ben Brik Meets with STC's Executive Body of Hadhramaut

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met, on Wednesday, with the Local Leadership Executive Body of the STC in Hadramout governorate,

The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, member of the presidency of the STC, head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), the official spokesman of the STC, discussed the latest political, service, economic and security developments, and the current events in Hadhramaut, as well as the ways to upgrade the work of the Executive Body in Hadhramaut and the Assistant Body in the Valley and Desert of Hadramaut.

In the meeting, the chairman of the Assembly stressed the importance of redoubling efforts, upgrading organizational work and dealing, in wisdom and a clear vision, with changes of this current stage, moreover, the work methods and mechanisms should be coincided with these changes, further to importance of cohesion, teamwork and unifying efforts to achieve the determined goals at this critical stage, and the directions schematized by leadership of the STC, at its top is the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, to achieve the aspirations of people of the South.

Major General Ben Brik stressed that Hadhramaut has a great importance to leadership of the STC, which can be considered as beating heart of the South, and whoever offends Hadhramaut surely offends the whole South, the chairman also reviewed the successful achievements fulfilled by leadership of the STC to reach to this stage with wisdom and political statesmanship; besides, the active presence on the ground and achieving legitimate demands by dealing with issues and events at the local and international levels, despite the suffering of struggle that is experienced by our southern people; the actual partner in achieving this success due to steadfastness and supporting to the political leadership in spite of the difficult conditions, the systematic and waged wars to abort the will of people of the South.

The chairman of the Assembly referred to the ongoing arrangements of the fifth session  which is scheduled to be held in June13-14, 2022, based on the decree and invitation of the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, through which changes will be explained for the next stage and directions to structure the bodies and institutions of the STC  through expanding qualitative and organizational work with focused attention to service, economic and security issues, and other important reports that will be included in the session.

Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, member of the presidency of the STC, head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) and the official spokesman of the STC, stressed the importance of working with the heart of one man at this critical stage with a clear vision in line with the upcoming entitlements; the directions of the STC's leadership, and the importance of interacting with issues of citizens in all aspects, noting the struggling and pioneering role of Hadhramout and its people since the beginning of the first spark of the Southern Movement.

In turn, the head and members of the executive body in Hadhramaut expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the chairman of the National Assembly, his keenness and support to upgrade the organizational and administrative work, and the important issues of concern to Hadhramaut in all fields, conveying him greetings, on behalf of the people of Hadhramaut.

They pointed out to what was discussed in both meetings with the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi and the chairman of the National Assembly, will positively be reflected in the upcoming orientations to work in the spirit of one team in the Coast and Valley of Hadramout, to solve all troubles and obstacles, improve administrative and organizational work, and create a partnership with local authorities in the governorate to achieve the aspirations of people of Hadhramaut and the South and to contribute to alleviate their suffering.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, head of the local leadership executive body of the STC in Hadhramaut governorate, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Malik Al-Zubaidi, head of the assistant executive authority in the Valley and the Desert, Sheikh Hassan Ben Saeed Al-Jabri, leader of the second Hadrami Popular Uprising, head of Alliance and Mass of Hadramout for Hadramout and the South in the Valley and Desert of Hadhramout, and a number of deputies of the executive body head, heads of departments and members of the executive bodies.
