President Al-Zubaidi chairs joint meeting of Social Affairs Committee of the Assembly and Social Affairs Department of the Secretariat

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, chaired on Sunday, a joint meeting of the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly and the Social Affairs Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed all the attendees, praising all the efforts made by them during the last period.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the work of social affairs is of great importance, as it touches the concerns and suffering of citizens, stressing the need to activate the role of social affairs in all the governorates of the South, because of its importance in alleviating the crises that the southern citizens are currently experiencing.

President Al-Zubaidi noted the importance of coordinating work between the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of the Council and the Department of Social Affairs in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council, in areas and issues related to their work.

In turn, the members of the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly and the Social Affairs Department of the General Secretariat valued the efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi and the leadership of the Council, noting that these efforts are appreciated by all the people of the South.

At the conclusion of the meeting, they emphasized that they would do their utmost to work on getting close to people's concerns in the capital, Aden, in particular, and the governorates of the South in general.
