The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi,, met on Saturday, in the capital, Aden, with the Undersecretary of the Curriculum and Guidance Sector in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Abdul-Ghani Al-Shodabi, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Ruqaibi, the Director of Education Office in Aden the capital.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the education in the South in general has been subjected to a malicious conspiracy and systematic destruction by Sana'a regime since after the unjust war of the summer of 1994, with the aim of educational sabotage and ignoring the people of the South, who were considered group of the scientifically and educationally advanced peoples, pointing out that South, before the unity, was well-developed educationally, culturally, and academically, and in various respects.
The meeting discussed the situation of education in general in the capital, Aden, and the available means, at the present time, to advance the educational process in the capital, in light of the obvious inaction of the government.
During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts made by the Curriculum and Guidance Sector in the Ministry of Education, as well as the Education Office in the capital, Aden, despite the lack of capabilities, calling for redoubled efforts to improve the performance of the educational process as a basis for the advancement and progress of any society.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to lift the educational sector in the capital, Aden, from its current deteriorating situation, and work to improve it with the available capabilities, stressing the readiness of the Southern Transitional Council to contribute to addressing the educational process in the capital, Aden in particular, and the South in general.
President Al-Zubaidi emphasized that the educational aspect is of great interest to the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, as it is one of the basic and main pillars in building the upcoming federal state of the South.
In turn, the Undersecretary of the Curriculum and Guidance Sector in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Abdul-Ghani Al-Shodaby, and the Director General of the Education Office in the capital, Aden, Dr. Mohammad Al-Ruqaibi, valued the great efforts made by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi to improve the educational process in the capital, Aden.
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Shodaby and Dr. Al-Ruqaibi delivered an integrated explanation of the educational situation in the capital, Aden, and the difficulties and obstacles they face, expressing their gratitude with President Al-Zubaidi's interest in the educational process, and the Southern Transitional Council's keenness to strengthen institutional scientific work.
