The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Monday, at the Council's headquarters in the capital, Aden, with the Commander-in-Chief of the support brigades, Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Staff of the Support Forces, Brigadier General Nabil Al-Mashoushi, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, who arrived from the United Arab Emirates after a successful business trip.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the fruitful moves made by the leadership of the support brigades, stressing the importance of making more efforts to defend the gains and achievements of the South, and to confront any conspiracies targeting the just cause of the South.
The meeting focused on the level of readiness of the southern armed forces to face any upcoming challenges, praising the security campaign carried out by the southern security services in the capital, Aden, aimed at preventing carrying weapons and seizing unnumbered cars, stressing the need to continue enhancing security and stability in the capital in particular, and the governorates of the South in general.
The meeting stressed the importance of completing the rehabilitation and training of the southern armed forces, and setting up an appropriate training mechanism, which would contribute to building a solid southern army, armed with combat expertise and knowledge, and under the direct supervision of President Aidarous al-Zubaidi, the Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces.
In turn, Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali expressed his happiness at meeting President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, praising all the moves and steps taken by President Al-Zubaidi that aimed at restoring the state of the South with its full sovereignty over its entire national borders.
At the end of the meeting, Brigadier-General Al-Wali confirmed the readiness of the support forces to carry out the required tasks and carry them out to the fullest.
