The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Sunday, with members of the Martyrs and Wounded Department in the General Secretariat of the Council Presidency, and members of the Martyrs and Wounded Committee of the National Assembly of the Council, and members of the medical department in the Backup and Support brigades.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi valued the huge sacrifices made by the martyrs and wounded in defense of honor and the homeland, stressing that all these sacrifices are a source of pride for every southerner.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the Transitional Council is doing its utmost to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the families of the martyrs, as well as meeting the most important needs of the wounded.
The meeting stressed the need for the government to carry out its duty towards the families of the martyrs and the wounded, by giving the families of the martyrs full care in return for the sacrifices made by the martyrs, in addition to meeting the needs of the wounded, who suffer as a result of deliberate government neglect.
The meeting also discussed the tasks related to alleviating the suffering of the families of the martyrs, and continuing to treat the wounded at homeland and abroad.
The meeting stressed the importance of strengthening the coordination of joint efforts between the Department of Martyrs and Wounded in the General Secretariat, the Committee of Martyrs and Wounded in the National Assembly of the Council, and the medical department in the Backup and Support brigades, and unifying efforts to overcome difficulties.
At the conclusion of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a number of important observations related to the practical aspect, the most important obstacles to the progress of work, and proposals for possible solutions to overcome them.
