The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met today, Saturday, with Mr. Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, son of the former Minister of Defense, who is imprisoned in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia.
In the meeting, which was attended by the member of the Presidency of the Council, Mr. Abdul Rahman Sheikh, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the son of Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, stressing that the issue of Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and his companions is one of the Council's priorities.
President Al-Zubaidi pointed out that the Council will present the issue of the hero Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and his companions in any negotiations or exchange of prisoners, and the Council will use all the means of pressure it possesses to release them, stressing that this issue is a national and humanitarian task that falls on the responsibility of the Council and of every southerner, and there is no tolerance with it.
President Al-Zubaidi added: "The southern liberation revolution, of which the Southern Transitional Council represents its political bearer and its legitimate delegate, came only for the victory of southern human rights, foremost of which is their right to restore their full sovereignty state within the borders prior to May 21, 1990, as well as the release of all Southern prisoners and detainees, and the restoration of all their stolen and taken rights.
For his part, the son of Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for the role they play in the cause of his father and fellow prisoners, stressing that these positions are not strange to a leadership that came from the heart of the southern liberation revolution.
