Yafe'i Large Crowds Flocked to Sit-in Square in the Capital Aden to Demand Declaring South Arabia State

The open-ended sit-in square in the capital, Aden, witnessed a distinguished event on Sunday as large, unprecedented crowds from the Yafe'a area arrived in a solemn national display, underscoring deep public engagement with the cause of the South and its fateful political demands.

The large-scale crowds from Yafe'a streamed into the sit-in square, waving flags of the South and chanting nationalist and revolutionary slogans in a clear expression of public endorsement for the Southern political leadership, led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, to renew the popular mandate to move forward towards declaring a fully sovereign state of South Arabia, as a unifying national goal that has consolidated the sterling will of the people of the South.

In a speech, Sheikh Abdulrab al-Naqeeb, a member of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) Presidium and a senior Yafe'a figure, articulated the historic stance and prominent roles of the Yafe'a citizens throughout various phases of the unrelenting struggle and reaffirmed that Yafe'a has always been at the forefront in defending the South and its identity, stating that the crowds arriving in the capital, Aden, today sent an unequivocal and non-negotiable message on the restoration of the state of the South and the right to self-determination.

Speaking at the event, Brig. Gen. Mohsen al-Wali, commander of the Security Belt Forces (SBF), praised the massive turnout and described the public momentum as a clear message reflecting the awareness and determination of people of the South to restore their state, adding that Southern security and military forces would remain steadfast in protecting the people's will and their legitimate demands.

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Mansour Atef, commander of the Support and Reinforcement Forces, stated in his address that this solemn public mass rally represented a live popular plebiscite on the choice to restore the state and emphasised the readiness of Southern forces to protect hard-won national gains and secure the peaceful path of the public movement until the full aspirations of the people of the South are realised.

For his part, Abu Hamam, a commander of the Southern Resistance Forces, reaffirmed that the pure blood of blessed martyrs and ultimate sacrifices of heroes would not be in vain, asserting that the South is closer than ever to achieving its ultimate goal. He called for cohesiveness and alignment behind the leadership of the South to confront challenges and secure full and undiminished national rights.

This massive mass rally extends a series of ongoing public activities at the open sit-in square, now in its fifteenth consecutive day, proceeding amid stable organisational and security conditions, reflecting a high level of public awareness and reinforcing the view that the Southern public is steadfastly progressing towards its national goal of restoring and building a fully sovereign state of South Arabia.
