President Al-Zubaidi Conducts Visit to Al-Dhale'a and Engages with Governorate's Local Leadership

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), conducted on Saturday an inspection visit to Al-Dhale'a governorate.

During the visit, the President, accompanied by the STC ministers in the government, several members of the STC's presidium, heads of auxiliary bodies, a number of senior security officers and military commanders, held an expanded meeting with local authority officials, military commanders, security officers, local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) of the STC, and social personalities in the governorate.

At the outset of his speech, President Al-Zubaidi extended his congratulations to the people of Al-Dhale'a on the blessed month of Ramadan, emphasizing that his visit reflects his commitment to find out about the concerns and conditions of its residents, addressing their issues, and assessing their needs, praising the immense sacrifices made by Al-Dhale'a since the launch of the Southern Liberation Revolution.

The President added, "Al-Dhale'a has made immense sacrifices during the revolution and resistance. It is here that the Houthi-Iranian project was defeated, due to the ultimate sacrifices of its people, together with the heroes from Radfan, Yafe'a, Al-Sabiha, Lahj, Aden, and other governorates of the South."

President Al-Zubaidi underscored the importance of cohesiveness, solidarity, and teamwork in advancing the governorate and serving its people. In the context of his speech, his Excellency directed the STC ministers in the government to prioritize the challenges of the governorate, each within their respective areas of responsibility.

The President continued, stating, "We are well aware of the extent of the suffering endured by our people in Al-Dhale'a, and we recognize the magnitude of the challenges facing the local leadership of the governorate amid scarce resources and a lack of opportunities. However, this does not absolve us of our duty to provide what we can for the citizens, within the limits of available resources and possibilities."

In concluding his speech, President Al-Zubaidi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their genuine stances with the country and their unwavering support for our people under all circumstances and junctures, reaffirming that these fraternal stances will definitely remain etched in the conscience of our people for generations to come.
