The Southern Transitional Council (STC) has been monitoring the activities of a coalition that sever...
The terrorist Houthi militia persists in its aggression with drones against oil facilities in the governorates of Shabwa and Hadramout, as they targeted al-Nashima port in Shabwa governorate on October 18 and 19, 2022, and on October 21, 2022, they targeted al-Dhaba port for exporting oil in Hadramout governorate, too, with two drones, threatening the oil installations and maritime navigation in the Arabian Sea.
Condemnation is no longer sufficient against the eccentricity and transgression of the terrorist Houthis, with whom talks about extending the truce are no longer acceptable. Therefore, we reserve our right to respond to this arrogance and the corresponding aggressive Houthi escalation on the confronting fronts in Al-Dhalea, Yafe'a and Karesh.
The international community is required to include these Iranian-backed Houthi militias on the lists of terrorist organizations and to take the necessary measures to curb and deter them.
Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri
Official Spokesperson of the Southern Transitional Council (STC)
Member of the STC's Presidium.
